Abstrakty
W artykule przedmiotem analizy uczyniono zmiany w przestrzeni konsumpcyjnej miasta. Autor podejmuje próbę odpowiedzi na pytania: czy i w jakim zakresie zmiany w przestrzeni konsumpcyjnej, wynikające z budowania centrów handlowo-rozrywkowych w miastach, można nazwać trwałym procesem? Szukając odpowiedzi na to pytanie, poddano analizie zmiany w przestrzeni konsumpcyjnej w perspektywie historycznej. Przedstawiono shopping mall jako wielofunkcyjną przestrzeń konsumpcyjną. Omówiono także czynniki wpływające na dominację shopping malla nad innymi formami w przestrzeni konsumpcyjnej. Skupiono się na analizie funkcji jakie pełnią centra handlowo-rozrywkowe w przestrzeni miejskiej. W zakończeniu przedstawiono scenariusze rozwoju centrów handlowo rozrywkowych w najbliższej przyszłości. (abstrakt oryginalny)
In this paper the subject matter for analysis has been acknowledged to be the changes in the consumer space of a city. The author at hand makes an attempt to answer the following question: Can the changes in consumer space resulting from the construction of shopping centers be termed a long term process and to what extent? In the search for answers to this question, the changes in the consumer space from a historical perspective have been placed under analysis. Shopping malls have been presented as a multi-functional consumer space. Likewise, the factors influencing the dominance of shopping malls over other forms of consumer space have been discussed. There has also been a focus placed on the analysis of the functions that are served by shopping malls in municipal space. By way of conclusion, a scenario for the development of shopping malls in the near future has been presented. (original abstract)
