Abstrakty
Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie roli czynników geograficznych w kształtowaniu procesu zaspokajania potrzeb turystycznych. W części teoretycznej podjęto rozważania na temat procesu zaspokajania potrzeb turystycznych, jak również procesu decyzyjnego odnośnie do wyboru miejsca recepcji, a także czynników geograficznych w strukturze determinant wyboru konsumentów na rynku turystycznym. Z kolei część empiryczną stanowią wyniki badań sondażowych przeprowadzonych wśród mieszkańców Krakowa w 2014 roku pozwalające na zweryfikowanie tezy sformułowanej w tytule artykułu. The purpose of this article is to present the role of geographical features in developing the process of meeting tourist needs. In the theoretical part, the process of meeting tourist needs was illustrated as well as the process of decision about which destination to choose, besides the geographical features in the structure of determinants of consumer choices on the tourist market. The empirical part consists of the results of a direct research carried out among the residents of Krakow in 2014 allowing to verify the thesis formulated in the title of the article.
