This paper adopts the template of systematic literature review and provides an up-to-date synthesis of the literatur on consumer ethnocentrism. The main aim of this paper is to adopt the systematic review approach as a tool for highligthing, mapping and assessing the existing intellectual achievements (Lee, 2009) as well as to specify a research question to develop the present body of consumer ethnocentrism knowledge further. What is more, the paper aims at outlining the quantitative part of systematic review method as one of the literature analysis tool. Taking advantage of the systematic review method enabled the author both to highlight the rich origins of consumer ethnocentrism literature and to manage the diversity of knowledge for the doctoral thesis purpose.
