Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest prezentacja modelu rozwoju wiedzy o zarządzaniu projektami i roli, jaką w tym procesie odgrywają takie instytucje, jak ośrodki akademickie, organizacje profesjonalne, konsultanci, szkoleniowcy, autorzy książek o zarządzaniu projektami. Jednym z ważnych elementów tego modelu jest zjawisko profesjonalizacji kierowników projektów. Certyfikacja zawodowa, rozwój wiedzy specjalistycznej oraz tworzenie kodeksów etyki zawodowej świadczą o tendencji do profesjonalizacji tego środowiska. (fragment tekstu)

The aim of this paper is to present the institutional model of knowledge development in the area of project management as well as the role played by such institutions as universities, professional associations, consultants, trainers etc. One of the crucial elements of the model is the phenomenon of professionalization concerning project managers - certification, specialist knowledge development, codes of ethics etc. confirm the mentioned tendency. In the first part of the paper the selected issues of the discussion on institutions and processes supporting the development of project management knowledge will be demonstrated, in the second part the results of empirical research conducted among students of project management programs regarding the indicated issues will be presented.(original abstract)
