Abstrakty

Contrary to popular belief, crowdsourcing is not necessarily the best way to obtain innovative product development ideas. Consumers' ideation in virtual social networks is affected both by psychological factors, and the network's characteristics that can inhibit consumers' creativity. This, in re sults, le ads to mediocre product ideas.
