World industry and regional analysis of foreign direct investments in the world economy

Transformation processes in the world economy continue. Phenomenon of foreign control over the production is a basis of the definitions of "international production", "transnational corporations" (TNCs) and "foreign direct investment" (FDI). The purpose of this study is to identity major trends of the development in the global manufacturing and international production, defining the role of foreign direct investment in the world economy and shifts in placement of inflows and outflows FDI on the level of regions and countries that occurred at the end of XX - beginning of XXI century.(author's abstract)
