W opiacowaniu przeanalizowano wpływ współczesnych technologii e-biznesowych na wzrost gospodarczy krajów rozwijających się. Zaobserwowano, że Tanzania dokonała swoistego przeskoku technologicznego pomijając niektóre etapy rozwoju biznesu elektronicznego właściwe dla krajów rozwiniętych. Szczególnie widoczne jest to w zakresie mikrobankowości i wspomagania działania firm ma- łych i średnich. Choć prezentowane dane dotyczą Tanzanii, to zaobserwowane prawidłowości odnoszą się do większości krajów będących dopiero na dorobku - w szczególności krajów afrykańskich. (abstrakt oryginalny)

ICT and e-business can enable entrepreneurship and small scale businesses in emerging markets gain greater bargaining power to innovate Tanzania economy growth despite their limited capital and mobility. Today the Tanzania economy is innovated by small scale businesses on moving online. ICTs and e-business have the potential to considerably improve Tanzania economy growth by encouraging these new innovation technologies, also to do more on increasing the security of online payment, supporting innovation to entrepreneurs and ensuring consistent regulations. The main goal of this paper is to describe the impact of the actual stage of ICT and e-business development in Tanzania and suggest solutions through prioritizing the available resources for healthy potential growth of small enterprises in Tanzania. The final conclusions and recommendations conclude the presented study. (original abstract)
