Abstrakty

Rozwój i upowszechnienie technik informacyjnych w znaczącym stopniu przyczynił się do rozkwitu działalności w przestrzeni elektronicznej i do ekspansji e-business i e-commerce [Hutchings, Best, Mahmuti 2013]. Poszerzanie przestrzeni informacyjnej, którą może być zainteresowany e-business, m.in. o media społecznościowe sprawia, że zapotrzebowania na zaawansowane systemy informacyjne - opisywane choćby przez Scotta [2011] - może być coraz większe. W poszukiwaniu wydajności, dostępności i oszczędności wielu przedsiębiorców skłania się ku korzystaniu z zasobów chmury obliczeniowej i aplikacji w niej oferowanej. Dotyczy to zwłaszcza mniejszych podmiotów, ale nawet duże organizacje poważnie rozważają możliwość przeniesienia do chmury choćby części funkcjonalności wspierającej obieg i przetwarzanie informacji [Cattaneo, Kolding, Bradshaw 2012]. Cloud computing for many years has been successfully used to support e-commerce and broader processes of electronic communication. Technical and technological development makes private cloud functionality more accessible and allows organization for expansion of business activities in this. The article consists of three parts. The first part provides a brief overview of the technology and the potential use of cloud computing, among others, in e-commerce solutions. The main part of the article is devoted to the case study of the implementation of private cloud computing solutions based entirely on open source, whose main task is to support scalable e-commerce solutions and analytical tools. The last part of the article presents the findings and conclusions of the authors conducted resulting from the implementation of the test, which can be useful for all players l ooking for an effective management tool for scalable scalable software platforms.(original abstract)
