Wstępne wyniki badań przeprowadzonych przez autora sugerują, że innowacje mogą powodować ekspansję zagraniczną przedsiębiorstw. Oznacza to, że nowatorskie rozwiązania predestynują firmy do poszukiwania nowych obszarów działalności, które mogą znajdować się poza rynkiem lokalnym. W artykule została podjęta próba identyfikacji czynników skłaniających przedsiębiorstwa do wchodzenia na nowe rynki przy wykorzystaniu innowacji. Dodatkowo, określono mechanizm wpływu innowacji na internacjonalizację. W efekcie ustalona została rola innowacji w procesie ekspansji zagranicznej przedsiębiorstw.(abstrakt oryginalny)

Initial results of research conducted by the author suggest an influence of innovations on international expansion of a company. It means that novel solutions predetermine companies to seek for new fields of activity which can be located outside the local market. The article takes an attempt to identify factors that can induce a company to enter new markets with the use of innovations. Additionally, a mechanism of influence of innovations on internationalization has been defined. In result, the role of innovations in an international expansion of a company has been specified.(original abstract)
