(fragment tekstu)

Firstly, it clarifies the success of ICTs adoption in enterprises. Secondly, the theory of critical success factors is shown as a useful basis for identifying critical factors for the successful ICTs adoption. Thirdly, the paper presents a catalogue of success factors and critical factors for ICTs adoption in Polish enterprises. The study results show that these factors include the financial capabilities of enterprises, the quality of back-office and front-office information systems in enterprises, ICTs projects management and information culture in enterprises, and ICTs competences of enterprises' employees. Moreover, benefits for enterprises and their customers coming from ICTs adoption influence the successful ICTs adoption. This paper concludes with a presentation of the study's contribution and limitations, implications for the findings and the stream of future work. (original abstract)
