Abstrakty

Kolej dużych prędkości stanowi istotny element ilościowego i jakościowego rozwoju transportu kolejowego w Europie i Azji. Wysokie koszty budowy i utrzymania kolei dużych prędkości rekompensowane są licznymi, choć trudnymi do precyzyjnego pomiaru korzyściami, których beneficjentem są pasażerowie, system transportowy i gospodarka. Kolej dużych prędkości umożliwiła zmianę konkurencyjnych relacji między transportem kolejowym i lotniczym na dystansie do 800 km. Poza omówionymi skutkami konkurencji między tymi gałęziami transportu podkreślono obszary współpracy i wspólnych korzyści odnoszonych przez transport lotniczy i koleje dużych prędkości. High speed rail is an important element of the quantitative and qualitative development of rail transport in Europe and Asia. The high costs of construction and maintenance of high-speed rail are compensated by numerous benefits, which are difficult to precisely measure. Its beneficiaries are passengers, the transport system and economy. The high speed rail has enabled change in the competitive relationship between rail and air transport for a distance of up to 800 km. Besides discussed the effects of competition between modes of transport areas of cooperation and shared benefits gained by air transport and high speed rail were stressed. (original abstract)
