Economic benefits of european integration for Poland for four years after joining European Union

It's been five year since Poland joined European Union. Even though many economist say that it's been only five years of Polish membership and the most important benefits are still ahead of Poland, this small anniversaiy still gives a good reason to ask questions to what extent Poland has used the economic potential associated with the process of European integration and its membership. As a result the aim of this paper is to assess the extent of the use of Poland's economic potential associated with the process of European integration. The solution of this scientific problem can have many dimensions, it should catch the relative character of the problem, and it is quite difficult to solve it without the threat of giving normative or politically biased results. In order to fulfill this criteria and to limit this last threat, as its total elimination is not possible, the analysis conducted in this paper was based on international perspective and some explicit rules of taxonometric analysis were applied here. For this purpose, examination of the economic position of Poland four years before the accession, in the year of accession and four years after accession in relation to the other members of the European Union was carried out.(fragment of text)
