Celem tej publikacji jest wskazanie, że spodziewane jest rychłe, a nieuchronne pojawienie się takich struktur w Polsce, a także zwrócenie uwagi świata nauki i praktyki na pojawienie się struktur wspomagających zarządzanie majątkiem i interesami rodzin biznesowych (nie tylko firmami rodzinnymi) i uwzględnienie ich w planowaniu i analizowaniu przyszłych losów firm rodzinnych i rodzin biznesowych(fragment tekstu)

There is an increasing number of Polish family businesses which are going to exceed the volumes of SME's. The complexity of issues embedded in the running and expanding enterprises is multiplied by problems of business families. Families' ability to maintain and solve the issues, which mix the family and business issues, is limited by their skills, low experience and available own human resources. One of the strategies enabling more efficient passing any problem in the business life is applying of outsourcing solutions. The same is valid for the solving of problems in the complex multi-generation business families. In the more matured economies in which business transfer between generations have been practiced without any interruptions, the business families are supported in managing their issues by the specialized organizations called Family Offices. This paper presents some basic facts about Family Offices, as well as applicability of the related experience from Western Economies to the raising group of bigger businesses owned and managed by Polish families.(original abstract)
