W pracy przedstawiono aktualny stan wiedzy na temat jakości powietrza w kabinie samochodu. Zamieszczony został przegląd literatury dotyczący badań lotnych związków organicznych w kabinach nowych i używanych samochodów. W kabinach nowych samochodów związki organiczne pochodzą głównie z odgazowania materiałów, użytych do wyposażenia kabiny, a ich stężenie maleje z czasem użytkowania samochodu. W samochodach używanych miejsce związków organicznych, wyemitowanych z materiałów, zajmują substancje pochodzące głównie ze spalania paliwa. Badania jakości powietrza w kabinach samochodów używanych w ruchu są prowadzone na szerszą skalę, niż badania jakości powietrza w samochodach nowych i mają głównie na celu ocenę narażenia ludzi na szkodliwe związki z grupy BTEX (benzen, toluen, etylobenzen, izomery ksylenu). Znacznie mniej badań prowadzonych jest w kabinach samochodów nowych, czego powodem jest różnorodność dostępnych materiałów, możliwych do zastosowania w kabinie samochodu, oraz modeli samochodów. W pracy przedstawiono również podsumowanie stosowanych procedur badawczych. Próbki powietrza były głównie pobierane metodą aktywną na adsorbenty stałe oraz analiza metodą chromatografii gazowej po wcześniejszej desorpcji temperaturowej. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The state of current knowledge on air quality in vehicle's interior is presented. The literature overview on volatile organic compounds research in the cabins of new and used vehicles is presented. In new vehicles' cabins organic compounds originate from the off-gassing of materials which were used to equip vehicle's interior, and their concentration decreases with time of usage. In used vehicles, the place of organic compounds, which were emitted from materials, take substances originating mainly from fuel combustion. Air quality investigation in traffic-used vehicles are conducted on larger scale than air quality investigation in new vehicles and aim mainly on human exposure to harmful compounds from the group of BTEX (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene, isomers of xylene). Significantly less research are conducted in cabins of new vehicles, due to both variety of available materials used to equip vehicle's interior, and car models. The summary of research procedures is also described. Air samples were mainly collected by active method on solid sorbents and analysed by gas chromatography after thermal desorption.
