Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest wykazanie, że przedsiębiorczość międzynarodowa i jej natężenie jest warunkiem budowania globalnej wizji biznesu mającego potencjał kreowania produktów o dużej wartości dodanej i potrzebę szybkiej ich komercjalizacji. Warunek ten dotyczy zwłaszcza młodych przedsiębiorstw pochodzących z gospodarek/rynków wschodzących, których chłonność na tego typu produkty jest ograniczona. Na część empiryczną artykułu składają się studia przypadków polskich, innowacyjnych przedsiębiorstw z branży akcesoriów medycznych i biotechnologii o zróżnicowanych wizjach globalnych i ich wpływie na osiągane rezultaty : tempo wzrostu oraz rentowność biznesu. This article presents the positive impact of international entrepreneurship on business growth, financial performance and profitability. The speed of business internationalization is determined by the following variables: information and communication infrastructure, sectoral competition, knowledge intensity, personal or organizational, international networking and the most important - the personality of an entrepreneur. The empirical part of the article proves theoretical considerations. The businesses analyzed from the Polish branches of medical accessories and biotechnology offer high value-added products, but only those of them, which are oriented to international opportunities grow rapidly and perform much better.
