Chronologiczny zapis zdarzeń jakie zachodzą w czasie przebiegu procesów jest najważniejszym i najpopularniejszym sposobem gromadzenia informacji o procesach zachodzących w organizacji. The paper presents the current knowledge on the use of data analysis on events in business process management. Considerations and conclusions are based on empirical studies and literature. It identifies key issues divided by subject to the automatic creation of process models based on data from the event log, assessing the compatibility of downloaded data about events from the assumed model, the analysis of social networks in the organization, automatic creation of simulation models, the development, modification and optimization of existing process models, predictive analysis and development of recommendations made during the process.
