Przedstawiono ocenę efektywności technicznej i środowiskowej w różnych typach rolniczych gospodarstw oraz grupach obszarowych. Do pomiaru efektywności zastosowano nieparametryczną metodę DEA. Badania przeprowadzono w grupie towarowych gospodarstw rolnych z Wielkopolski. Stwierdzono, że strategie osiągania wyższej efektywności technicznej i środowiskowej nie są przeciwstawne.(abstrakt oryginalny)

Uneconomical application of inputs affects the economical performance of farms and puts en excessive pressure on the environment. The aim of the work was to estimate the technical efficiency of applied inputs and the environmental efficiency with regard to the nitrogen balance and pesticides. The research was carried out in a group of 30 farms from Wielkopolska, in the years 2002-2003. For the efficiency measurement the DEA method was implemented. Farms specialised in the milk production reached the highest value of technical efficiency as well environmental efficiency compared to farms specialising in pig fattening and plant production. Technical and environmental efficiencies were higher in the area group below 21 ha than in the other area groups clustering farms of larger agricultural land area. The results obtained indicated that strategies of increasing technical and environmental efficiencies could be convergent.(original abstract)
