This article is trying to bring insight into the historical development of protection of nature, especially forests, animals and birds in the course of history on the territories of the countries, because of the need for environmental protection, which is the basis of environmental policy, as it is perceived today, found itself a reflection of the decisions and actions of individual countries and regions, resp. their rulers back over the centuries, resp. millennia, while individual decisions, do not have the sophisticated nature of law now, but connects them with the current need to protect nature and its various sub-components(original abstract)
