Abstrakty

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest kompleksowe przedstawienie potencjalnych obszarów wdrażania innowacyjnych rozwiązań w transporcie oraz skonfrontowanie postrzegania innowacji na poziomie przedsiębiorstw oraz polityki Unii Europejskiej. Wyzwania ekonomiczne i społeczne współczesnego świata wymuszają wdrażanie rozwiązań innowacyjnych w sektorach gospodarki, a sektor transportu nie jest wyjątkiem, wprost przeciwnie, jest predestynowany do roli lidera w tym zakresie. W założeniach politycznych organy Unii Europejskiej nie bagatelizują tych wyzwań i zarówno dokumenty programowe, jak i struktura instytucjonalna wydaje się być odpowiadająca potrzebom. Przegląd działań na poziomie UE i przedsiębiorstw przeprowadzony w niniejszym artykule dowiódł, ze o ile struktura instytucjonalna wydaje się być obecnie w pełni dostosowana do potrzeb, to na etapie postulatów pozostaje zapewnienie odpowiednich bodźców, szczególnie w sferze finansowania oraz wdrożenie efektywnego systemu pozwalającego na rozwój innowacyjnego europejskiego transportu. The purpose of this article is to present a comprehensive review of the potential areas for innovation in transport and to confront the perception of innovation at the level of enterprises and the policy of the European Union. Economic and social challenges of modern world require the implementation of innovative solutions in all sectors of the economy, and the transport sector is not an exception, but on the contrary, it is predestined to a leadership role in this area. The economic, research and innovation and transport policy of the European Union do not underestimate the challenges and both policy documents as well as institutional structures seem to be relevant to these needs. The overview of the activities at EU and business level conducted in this article has shown that unless the institutional structure has been already well adapted to the needs, still there should be provided appropriate incentives, especially in the sphere of financing and implementation of an effective system to allow for the development of innovative European transport.
