Abstrakty
Celem artykułu jest przeprowadzenie przeglądu badań światowych w zakresie strategii dywersyfikacji. Po krótkim wprowadzeniu do problematyki dywersyfikacji przybliżono wczesne, początkowe badania w tym obszarze. Następnie wskazano na znaczenie kluczowych miar stopnia dywersyfikacji działalności przedsiębiorstwa w postaci: miar opartych na PKD, współczynnika Herfindahla-Hirschmanna, ekwiwalentu współczynnika Herfindahla- Hirschmanna oraz miary entropii. Następnie dokonano przeglądu kluczowych obszarów badań w zakresie strategii dywersyfikacji w podziale na: relacje pomiędzy dywersyfikacją a wynikami firm, dywersyfikację powiązaną i niepowiązaną, wpływ struktur własnościowych na dywersyfikację oraz konkurencyjne i rynkowe uwarunkowania dywersyfikacji. Ostatnim elementem opracowania jest przegląd najnowszych artykułów w zakresie strategii dywersyfikacji obejmujących wyniki badań w okresie 2010-2015(abstrakt oryginalny)

The main goal of the article is to conduct a review of research papers in the field of diversification strategy. After a short introduction to the issue of diversification the author describes early studies in this area. The next point is to present key measures of corporate diversification based on SIC, Herfindahl-Hirschmann index, number-equivalent of industries and entropy measure. Then the overview of the key research areas of diversification is presented: the relationship between diversification and performance, related and unrelated diversification, the impact of ownership structure on diversification, as well as competitive and market conditions for diversification. The conclusion of the article presents the review of the latest research papers in the field of corporate diversification strategies in the years 2010-2015(original abstract)
