Abstrakty
Praca ta prezentuje wyniki badań empirycznych dotyczących zagadnienia zaufania, przeprowadzonych pośród 1116 polskich przedsiębiorstw w pierwszej połowie 2001 roku oraz analizuje znaczenie wyników tych badań dla lokalnego rozwoju gospodarczego. Wysoki poziom zaufania zmniejsza koszty transakcyjne aktywności ekonomicznej i w ten sposób stymuluje tę aktywność. Wysoki poziom zaufania może ponadto stymulować tworzenie nowych struktur w celu rozpoczęcia aktywności ekonomicznej, jak na przykład tworzenie nowych rodzajów organizacji i rozwijanie wzajemnych kontaktów. Przyczynia się to do większej elastyczności gospodarki i możliwości adaptacji, na przykład do zmian technologicznych. Natomiast w przypadku niskiego poziomu zaufania można z kolei oczekiwać szeregu problemów w gospodarce. (...) Przedstawione zostaną różne typy zaufania oraz ich rola w obniżaniu kosztów transakcyjnych. Następnie zostaną omówione wyniki badań ankietowych wraz z zarysowaniem kluczowych wniosków dotyczących tych badań. (fragment tekstu)
