Abstrakty

Kapitał ludzki społeczeństwa może przekładać się korzystnie na rozwój regionalny ale może być też przyczyną zróżnicowania regionalnego skutkującego w dalszym etapie wzrostem nierówności społecznych W artykule przedstawiono wyniki modelowania (stosując UMNK) społeczno-ekonomicznych determinant jakości edukacji w Polsce dla całej populacji powiatów wiejskich w Polsce. Analizy posłużyły weryfikacji hipotezy, że egzogeniczne czynniki ekonomiczno-społeczne są kluczowe dla efektywności procesu edukacyjnego na obszarach wiejskich. Wykazano odwrotnie proporcjonalny wpływ osi centrum-peryferia na jakość edukacji. (abstrakt oryginalny)

Human capital might translate into benefits for regional development but can also be the cause of social inequalities. The article presents the results of modeling socio-economic determinants (using GLS) of the quality of education in Poland for all population of rural counties. The analyzes aims at testing the hypothesis that exogenous socio-economic factors are crucial for the effectiveness of the educational process in rural areas. The negative influence of center-periphery continuum on the education quality has been proved. (original abstract)
