Abstrakty

W transakcjach zawieranych w Internecie wykorzystuje się obecnie około 500 różnych systemów wirtualnych walut, z których najbardziej popularny jest zdecentralizowany system bitcoina. Projekty te - będące ciągle w fazie eksperymentalnej - poddaje się analizie i stopniowo tworzy regulacje prawne w zakresie obrotu takim pieniądzem i kontroli nad nim. Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie różnych aspektów funkcjonowania bitcoina na tle wydarzeń mających wpływ na wzrost zainteresowania nim. Z analizy wynika, że tego typu waluty mają szanse wejść do codziennego użytku jako środki płatności za towary i usługi. (abstrakt oryginalny)

Currently, on the market we are dealing with the transactions on the Internet with the participation of approx. 500 different systems of virtual currencies, of which the most popular, Bitcoin, is a decentralized system. These projects - which are still in the experimental stage - are analysed and gradually legal action is being taken regarding the control and turnover of that money. The aim of the article is to present the events affecting the growing interest in virtual money. The main conclusion drawn from the analysis of the multifaceted approach to Bitcoin indicates that this type of currency have a chance to enter everyday use, acting as a means of clearing the payments for goods and services.
