Autorka przedstawia niektóre aspekty wpływu szeroko rozumianej zmiany technologicznej na sferę zatrudnienia. Jednym z wątków jest kwestia zaniku oraz kreacji miejsc pracy. Coraz powszechniejszy dostęp do szerokopasmowego Internetu, popularność urządzeń mobilnych takich jak smartfony czy tablety oraz możliwość wykorzystywania urządzeń przetwarzających zbiory danych (big data) powodują nieodwracalne zmiany w klasycznym rozumieniu pojęcia zatrudnienia. Przedmiotem uwagi jest w szczególności działanie platform operujących w ramach tzw. ekonomii na żądanie (on demand economy) takich jak Uber, Airbnb, TaskRabit czy Upwork. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The aim of the article is to present some aspects of the impact of technological change on employment. The issue of the disappearance and the creation of jobs is one of the topics. More and more widespread access to fast Internet, popularity of mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets and the possibility of using data processing equipment sets cause irreversible changes in the traditional meaning of employment. Special attention is focused on platforms operating in the so-called economy on demand such as Uber, Airbnb, TaskRabit or Upwork. (original abstract)
