Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest zaprezentowanie rynku prywatnych ubezpieczeń emerytalnych we Włoszech, przeanalizowanie jego przeobrażeń, począwszy od reformy Amato, aż do czasów współczesnych; jak również weryfikacja następujących hipotez badawczych: Fundusze emerytalne oraz indywidualne plany emerytalne odgrywają znaczącą rolę we włoskim systemie emerytalnym.Włochów cechuje przezorność ubezpieczeniowa, co przejawia się w gromadzeniu dodatkowych oszczędności na starość w funduszach emerytalnych oraz w indywidualnych planach emerytalnych. Artykuł składa się ze wstępu, podsumowania oraz trzech części. W części pierwszej została omówiona struktura rynku prywatnych ubezpieczeń emerytalnych przed 1992 r., wpływ reformy Amato i Diniego na rozwój prywatnych ubezpieczeń emerytalnych oraz znaczenie reformy z 2005 r. (w tym reformy TFR) dla współczesnej struktury rynku prywatnych ubezpieczeń emerytalnych we Włoszech. Rozdział drugi jest poświęcony omówieniu roli i znaczenia funduszy emerytalnych oraz indywidualnych planów emerytalnych we włoskim systemie emerytalnym. W rozdziale trzecim zostały zaprezentowane podstawowe dane statystyczne obrazujące strukturę rynku prywatnych ubezpieczeń emerytalnych we Włoszech. (fragment tekstu)

This article aims at presenting the private pension insurance market in Italy, in order to examine the transformation under the Amato reform as well as to verify the following research hypotheses: Pension funds and individual retirement plans play a significant role in the Italian pension system. Italy is characterized by prudence insurance reflected by the collection of additional savings for old age pension funds and individual pension plans. Verification of the research hypotheses will be possible through: analysis of the data contained in the reports by Covip (supervision institution of private pension insurance) and analysis of data gathered by authorized institutions. This article consists of an introduction, summary and three parts. The preface presents the purpose and structure of the article, research hypotheses and research methods that were used for their verification. First part entitled "Formation and transformation of private pension insurance market in Italy in years 1992-2005" characterizes Italian market before 1992. In addition, the author describes an impact of Amato and Dini reforms on the development of private pension insurance and the importance of the reform implemented in 2005 (including the reform of the TFR) for the modern structure of private pension insurance in Italy. The second chapter, entitled: "The structure of private pension insurance in contemporary Italy" is devoted to the role and importance of pension funds and individual pension plans in the Italian pension system. Whereas, the third chapter "Private pensions in Italy by numbers", presents statistics showing the basic structure of private pension insurance market in Italy. The whole is closed by a brief summary. (original abstract)
