Abstrakty

Przedstawione w artykule badania miały na celu określenie wpływu budowy autostrad na gospodarkę w skali lokalnej i w ujęciu przestrzennym. W badaniach starano się odpowiedzieć na pytanie, w jaki sposób powstanie poszczególnych autostrad wpłynęło na takie elementy, jak zaludnienie, poziom zamożności mieszkańców, wpływy podatkowe gminy czy liczba podmiotów gospodarczych. Wyniki badań świadczą przede wszystkim o zmianie struktury gospodarczej w pobliżu autostrady. Zmiana ta wywołała zarówno skutki negatywne (zmniejszenie się liczby ludności), jak i pozytywne (zwiększenie dochodów ludzi i firm). Wyniki pokazują, że wpływ autostrad na rozwój lokalny jest niejednoznaczny i nie można go określić za pomocą prostych terminów. Mogą jednak pozwolić na zbudowanie modelu, który będzie umożliwiał przewidywanie i analizę różnych aspektów opisywanego zjawiska(abstrakt oryginalny)

Research presented in the article was carried out to determine the impact of highways construction on local economy. According to the research the structure of local economy was changed. This change caused both negative effects (reduction of the population) and positive (increasing income of people and companies). The results show that the impact of highways on local development is ambiguous and cannot be stated in simple terms. However, it is possible to create a model that will enable the prediction and analysis of various aspects of this phenomenon(original abstract)
