Abstrakty

Koniunktura w handlu w II kwartale 2016 r. uległa pogorszeniu. Wartość wskaźnika koniunktury IRG SGH (IRGTRD) zmniejszyła się o 3,2 punktu i obecnie wynosi +5,9 pkt. Jest jednak wyższa od poziomu odnotowanego przed rokiem (o 1 punkt) oraz od średniej dla drugiego kwartału z ostatnich dziesięciu lat (wynosi ona +3,5 pkt.). (fragment tekstu)

In the 2nd quarter of 2016 business situation in the trade sector deteriorated in comparison with the previous quarter. The IRG SGH trade confidence indicator (IRGTRD) quarterly decreased by 3.2 pts to +5.9 pts. It is however 2.2 pts up from the respective 2015 figure, and higher than the first-quarters'average over the last ten years, which amounts to +3.5 pts. Although the indicator declined (when compared to the last quarter) the balances of the change in firms' general and financial situation, inventories, domestic and foreign purchases, employment and sales volume increased. Firms are optimistic, and assess their economic standing as good. They expect it continue improving in the next 6 months. (original abstract)
