Abstrakty

Regionalizm to - obok integracji i globalizacji - proces dominujący we współczesnej gospodarce światowej, wpływający na relacje międzypaństwowe w kontekście ekonomicznym, społecznym i politycznym oraz w sferze bezpieczeństwa. Jednocześnie rosnące znaczenie wschodnioazjatyckich państw sprzyja intensyfikacji współpracy regionalnej. Na proces ten znacząco wpłynął azjatycki kryzys finansowy z lat 1997-1998 oraz kryzys globalny lat 2008-2009. W artykule przedstawiono strukturę regionalizmu wschodnioazjatyckiego z uwzględnieniem jego wymiarów geoprzestrzennych: od mikroregionalizmu, poprzez subregionalizm, makroregionalizm i transregionalizm, aż po stanowiący najszerszą płaszczyznę powiązań interregionalizm. Aby osiągnąć ten cel, posłużono się metodą analityczno-opisową oraz porównawczą. Wyniki przeprowadzonych analiz wskazują na odmienne determinanty ustanawiania poszczególnych struktur regionalnych, zwłaszcza na dużą rolę uwarunkowań geopolitycznych.(abstrakt oryginalny)

Regionalism, in addition to integration and globalization, is the dominant process in the contemporary world economy, affecting the shape of the interstate relations in the context of economic, social, political and security sphere. Simultaneously, the growing importance of East Asian countries is conducive to intensifying the regional cooperation. This process was significantly affected by the Asian financial crisis of 1997-1998 and the 2008-2009 global crisis. The aim of the article is to present and analyse the structure of East Asian regionalism, taking into account all of its geospatial dimensions: mikroregionalism, subregionalism, makroregionalism, transregionalism, and the widest one: interregionalism. Research methods applied include the analysis of scientific publications and the comparative approach. The results of the analyses indicate that there are different determinants of the cooperation, with a particularly significant role of geopolitics.(original abstract)
