Abstrakty

Celem opracowania jest ocena skali i dynamiki rozwoju sektora inwestycji odpowiedzialnych społecznie (SRI) w Europie. W badaniu skoncentrowano się na analizie aktywności funduszy inwestycyjnych dostępnych dla inwestorów detalicznych ze względu na dostępność obiektywnych danych źródłowych uwzględniających rygorystyczne definicje inwestycji SRI. Badanie potwierdza dynamiczny rozwój skali inwestycji SRI, zwłaszcza w okresie po kryzysie finansowym, przy znacznym zróżnicowaniu geograficznym tej aktywności. Za istotnym czynnik sprzyjający rozwojowi inwestycji SRI należy uznać regulacje prawne wspierające tego rodzaju działalność w liderujących państwach. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The aim of the study is to assess the size and dynamics of the socially responsible investments sector in Europe. Study concentrates on analyzing the activity of investment funds available to retail investors due to objective nature of the source data and rigorous definition of responsible investments with regard to such funds. The research confirms the dynamic increase in the size of SRI investments, especially during the period following the global financial crisis. Significant geographical variations are observed, however. Favorable legal regulations are noticed as important incentive supporting the growth of SRI investments in leading countries.
