Abstrakty

EN

A debate on pension systems and reforms is going on in European countries for recent decades. The important factors affecting the operation of pension systems include: population aging, changes in structure of the economy, labour market activity of women and increase in globalization. The main challenges for pension systems reform are: securing the adequacy of the benefits and the financial sustainability of pension systems. The article is presenting the main trends in reforming pension systems in selected countries, Poland among them. (original abstract)
