Health care sector is one of those hardly keeping up with the technological advancement. In many regions of the world the computerization stage is not far from the starting point. Poland is one of such countries. Government is struggling with introducing new computerization programmes and IT solutions every year. However, all of those are related to basic, general operation of the sector. There are no solutions dedicated for particular specializations which have sophisticated requirements. The aim of this article is to highlight the necessity of implementing new software products facilitating physicians' work. Though it focuses on working out the solution connected with specific type of medical examination, the conclusions drawn may refer to various types that are carried out by the doctors.
