W artykule przytoczono wybrane charakterystyki Competitive Intelligence. Zaproponowano i opisano autorski model Competitive Intelligence. Celem artykułu jest opracowanie konceptualnego, holistycznego modelu CI. Przedstawione wyniki badań mogą być pomocne w opracowaniu planu i podejmowaniu działań, mających na celu wykorzystanie CI w działalności biznesowej.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The main purpose of this paper is to present an idea of Competitive Intelligence. To demonstrate this approach the prototype of a Competitive Intelligence is described. The structure of this paper is organized as follows: first, we provide an overview of the Competitive Intelligence. Next, the Competitive Intelligence concept and its components are presented in detail followed with a description of the prototype model. Finally, we summarize the key points of the research and give directions for future research.(original abstract)
