Today's society is determined by groups. This phenomenon also exists in the economy and in economic policy. This article shows the importance of the mesoeconomic theory for analyzing groups in the economy and in economic policy. Specifically, the mesoeconomic structures are represented by means of a market model for structural support.(original abstract)
