The article deals with special and general management functions that involve all the processes of management at the organization, their equivalence and the existence of a strategy for sustainable development of the organization. It is established that one of the tools to estimate the initial conditions of the characteristics for management strategy of sustainable development, which begins with the development of the organization is diagnostics of the management object. Presents actions necessary for the preparation and testing management processes to the strategy for sustainable development of the organization. Considered the classification of methods for collecting information about the management functions. Defined the level of manageability strategies for sustainable development of the organization as a function of basic, special and general management functions and business environment functions.(original abstract)
