Skills and Learning Styles in the HR Management Diversity

W artykule zaprezentowano wnioski z przeglądu literatury i badań własnych dotyczące zróżnicowania wybranych elementów potencjału kompetencyjnego, tj. umiejętności i stylu poznawczego pracowników wg koncepcji Allinsona i Hayesa [2000]. Zwrócono uwagę na korzyści związane z zarządzaniem zróżnicowanymi zasobami ludzkimi. Badania sondażu diagnostycznego przeprowadzono wśród 1276 respondentów z innowacyjnych przedsiębiorstw z wykorzystaniem kwestionariusza ankiety. Określono dominujące umiejętności i style uczenia w grupach zróżnicowanych ze względu na wiek, płeć, zajmowane stanowisko. Wiedza dotycząca zidentyfikowanych umiejętności i stylów uczenia charakterystycznych dla wybranych grup pracowników może być wykorzystana do zarządzania różnorodnością zasobów ludzkich, przede wszystkim w kontekście zmian demograficznych. Article presents findings from the literature review and own study results on the diversity of employee competency potential, namely skills and cognitive style. Cognitive style concept was taken after Allinson and Hayes [2000]. In the paper there were also highlighted the benefits of human resources diversity management. The study included 1276 of respondents from innovative companies. The A questionnaire surrey was used to collect data. Respondents indicated their best skills (self-assessment method) and assessed their learning styles. Data were analyzed across age, gender, position/ specialization in the organization. Study brought to the conclusion that one may identify skills and learning styles which could be found more often in diversified group of employees (especially diversed by gender, age). This findings can be used to management of human resources, especially in the context of demographic changes. (original abstract)
