Filtering Two Dimensional Images by Means of Image Segmentation Methods

Abstrakty
W pracy zaproponowano algorytm filtrowania obrazów kolorowych dwuwymiarowych. (fragment tekstu)
In the paper an algorithm for filtering two dimensional colour images is proposed. The algorithm consists of two stages. In the first stage the colour of each pixel is changed to the limiting colour obtained by means of the mean shift method proposed by Comaniciu, Meer (2000). In the second stage only those pixels are changed which constitute small area colours appearing rather due to a contamination resulting from inexact depiction of small details colours. As a result one arrives at an image made up of a couple of dozen colours instead of initial several thousands. (original abstract)
