Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie statystyki dotyczącej polskiego udziału w Programie Ramowym Badań, Rozwoju Technologicznego i Prezentacji Unii Europejskiej. Obecnie realizowane są projekty zarówno 5., jak i 6. Programu Ramowego, które zainaugurowano w grudniu 2002 r. Analiza polskiego uczestnictwa ograniczona będzie do 5. Programu Ramowego ze względu na dostępność danych. (fragment tekstu)

In March 2000, heads of state and government at the Lisbon European Council set the European Union a combined objective of creating by 2010 "the most competitive and dynamic knowledge-based economy in the world". Launching the European Union Framework Programmes for Research and Technological development and Demonstration (FP) is designed to reach this ambitious goal. The paper presents statistics concerning the participation of Polish organisations in research projects run under the 5 FP as well as an attempt of classification of these projects in view of duration, cost, European Commission funding and the number of partners involved. The data is taken from CORDIS (Community Research and Development Information Service) and from the Polish National Contact Point of EU Research Programmes. (original abstract)
