Abstrakty
Artykuł przypomina pewne znane wyniki dotyczące aproksymacji nieznanych rozkładów ciągłych zmiennych losowych jednowymiarowych za pomocą rozkładów należących do systemu rozkładów Pearsona. (fragment tekstu)
The Pearson system is the family of solutions f(x) to the differential equation f'(x) = h(x)f(x), where
h(x)= − x+aW(x)
and W(x) is a polynomial of degree n (in particulary n = 2, 3). The solution f(x) is grouped into types, that can be classified in terms a square a measure of skewness and kurtosis. In article some examples of estimation density functions for empirical data are given. (original abstract)
