The article contains an analysis of the influence of diversification of IP addresses on building a ranking of search results in Google search engine. The article is based on an analysis of the process of assigning addresses to website hosting providers and the possible variations of that process. It presents the process of assigning IP addresses and their operation, and it analyses the influence of autonomous systems on web search engine ranking. (original abstract)
