Multiple Tility Concepts - Some Methodological Aspects

Abstrakty
Przedmiotem niniejszej pracy są niektóre problemy powstające na gruncie teorii wyboru konsumenta. W ramach ekonomii neoklasycznej teoria ta oparta jest na założeniu pojedynczej użyteczności, tj. przypisywaniu koszykom dóbr jednej charakterystyki. W opozycji do niej sformułowane zostały koncepcje użyteczności wielokrotnej, czyli takie koncepcje wyboru, w ramach których koszykom dóbr przypisywana jest więcej niż jedna charakterystyka. Celem artykułu jest analiza argumentów za koncepcją pojedynczej użyteczności i użyteczności wielokrotnej i przeciw niej oraz udowodnienie tezy, że standardowa teoria wyboru w ramach ekonomii głównego nurtu nie musi stać w sprzeczności z koncepcjami użyteczności wielokrotnej. Praca opiera się na krytycznej analizie literatury przedmiotu i ma charakter wyłącznie teoretyczny. W końcowej części artykułu wskazano również na konsekwencje metodologiczne związane z koncepcjami użyteczności wielokrotnej(abstrakt oryginalny)
The subject of this article is a methodological apect of multiple utility concepts. Firstly, the assessment is made of single utility concepts. Secondly, the main types of multiple utility concepts are described. Thirdly, methodological arguments against multiple utility are quoted. The main thesis of the article is a claim that there is no inconsistency between standard neoclassical theory of choice and multiple utility framework(original abstract)
