The organizational culture in family businesses : case study in northern Mexico

Abstrakty
The dimension of organizational culture plays an important role in social organizations, specifically in family cooperatives, which is the case study presented, so it is a broad discussion. Cooperatives contribute to local development and the common welfare of families. Therefore, the aim of this article is to identify the cultural characteristics of fishing cooperatives and tourism services that are shaped by family ties in a community. The reflections are based on the literature review and empirical findings of the investigation. The empirical results section of this paper presents the local perspective, ie. the opinions and experiences of families - cooperative partners operating in northern Mexico. (original abstract)
