Strategic Orientations and Performance of Organisations: The Configurational Perspective
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
The paper takes a configurational perspective and investigates the joint effect of entrepreneurial orientation, market orientation, and learning orientation on performance of academic spin-off companies (firms created within the framework of academic entrepreneurship). The study used a relatively new method of analysis - the qualitative comparative analysis (QCA). The results indicate that performance of academic spin-off companies, in fact, depends on different configurations of strategic orientations. In addition, particularly the configuration of high intensity of the strategic orientation positively affects the high performance of academic spin-off companies. (original abstract)
