Abstrakty

In a knowledge-based economy intellectual capital of an enterprise is a measure and a premise of the success of its business strategy. Author proposes analysing the relationship between intellectual capital and the degree of vertical integration understood as one of development strategy options. Proposed analysis is based on four types of adjustments between intellectual capital and integration. Presentation of the model comes after the review of existing literature, which stresses the need to systematically examine the issue.(original abstract)
