The experience of the development of logistics and capitalization processes on the example of the leading companies of the world was generalized. The peculiarities of the development of the railway industry in Ukraine at the stage of implementing its reform were examined. The key logistic and financial problems of PJSC "Ukrzaliznytsia" in the context of the development of processes of the European integration and geographical expansion of the rail freight transportation in Europe and Asia were determined. The necessity of improving the logistic policy of railway transport enterprises and enhancing their activity on the stock markets with the purpose to attract external funding for projects to modernize the Ukrainian railway was proven.
