Negatywny wpływ sytuacji kryzysowych zazwyczaj jest rozpatrywany z punktu widzenia przedsiębiorstwa. Celem artykułu jest zbadanie, czy istnieje dodatkowy wpływ kryzysów, który odnosi się do reputacji sektora. Artykuł oparty jest na analizie danych wtórnych. Przedstawione wyniki wskazują, że w szczególnych przypadkach może wystąpić efekt uogólnienia, oznaczający, że sytuacje kryzysowe szkodzą nie tylko reputacji firmy, ale również reputacji całego sektora. The negative impact of crisis situations normally is considered from the corporate perspective. The aim of this article is to examine if there is an additional effect of crises, which refers to the sector reputation. The presented results indicate that in specific cases there can occur the generalisation effect which means that crisis situations may harm not only the corporate reputation, but also the reputation of the entire sector.
