Abstrakty

Problem badawczy dotyczy następującego zagadnienia: jaka jest rezyliencja ekonomiczna miasta analizowana w kontekście innych ośrodków miejskich. Celem artykułu jest określenie rezyliencji ekonomicznej Wrocławia w relacji do innych, porównywalnych pod względem gospodarczym, ośrodków miejskich w Europie. W warstwie teoretyczno-metodycznej artykuł bazuje na przeglądzie dorobku w dziedzinie urban resilience oraz zastosowaniu analizy wskaźnikowej do oceny poziomu rezyliencji ekonomicznej miast. W warstwie empirycznej zaprezentowano wyniki badań nad rezyliencją ekonomiczną Wrocławia w relacji do wybranych miast europejskich, tj. zidentyfikowanych na podstawie porównywalnych: poziomów PKB, dynamiki PKB, wielkości oraz dynamiki zatrudnienia(abstrakt oryginalny)

The paper refers to the following issue: what is the economic resilience of a particular city in the context of other urban units. Thus, the paper aims at determination of Wrocław's economic resilience in correspondence to others, comparable in terms of economy, urban units in Europe. In theoretical and methodological parts the article is based on a desk research on the urban resilience's literature as well as it applies indicators analysis to assess the economic resilience of cities. In empirical part, it presents outcomes and conclusions connected with economic resilience of Wrocław with comparison to other, selected European cities, identified as comparable to Wrocław in terms of: GDP level, GDP dynamics, employment level and employment dynamics in the period 2000-2013(original abstract)
