Brexit i jego implikacje dla Unii Europejskiej

Abstrakty

Unia Europejska to jedno z najważniejszych regionalnych ugrupowań integracyjnych funkcjonujących współcześnie w gospodarce światowej. UE to przykład zaawansowanej integracji gospodarczej, a zarazem ugrupowanie bardzo szerokie. Atrakcyjność formuły wypracowanej przez UE dała efekt stopniowego poszerzania, w wyniku którego powstał blok integracyjny obejmujący od połowy 2013 r. dwadzieścia osiem państw członkowskich. Ważnym członkiem UE jest Zjednoczone Królestwo Wielkiej Brytanii i Irlandii Północnej (zwane dalej Zjednoczonym Królestwem, ZK). Jest to jednak państwo członkowskie UE o specjalnym statusie, państwo, które nie akceptuje wielu aspektów integracji. Dzień 23 czerwca 2016 r. to punkt zwrotny w historii UE. Negatywny wynik referendum w sprawie dalszego członkostwa Zjednoczonego Królestwa nieodwracalnie zmieni przyszłość UE. Celem badań jest omówienie formalno-prawnych warunków wystąpienia z UE, analiza rezultatów referendum nt. członkostwa Zjednoczonego Królestwa w UE, a także ocena efektów oraz implikacji Brexitu dla dalszego rozwoju Unii Europejskiej.
