Abstrakty

Ekstrema pogodowe stanowiące odchylenie od normy klimatycznej mają znaczący wpływ na systemy społeczno-gospodarcze. Wywołują one negatywne skutki dla jakości życia człowieka, dobrobytu społecznego, rozwoju regionu i wyników przedsiębiorstw. W pracy przedstawiono wpływ ekstremów pogodowych na realizację praktyk rozwoju zrównoważonego w organizacjach. Wyniki rozważań wskazują, że zaburzenia w ciągłości funkcjonowania przedsiębiorstw, występujące na skutek ekstremów, mają znaczący ujemny wpływ na możliwość osiągania celów, stosowane praktyki i wskaźniki rozwoju zrównoważonego. Weather extremes cause negative consequences for the quality of human life, social welfare, regional development, results of organizations. In the paper, the impact of weather extremes on sustainable development practices in organization was presented. The considerations suggest that disturbances in business continuity, occurring as a result of extremes, have a significant, negative impact on the objectives, practices and indicators of sustainable development.
