Abstrakty

W badaniach nad rozkładem dochodu można wyodrębnić dwa główne zagadnienia - pierwsze z nich dotyczy oceny stopnia nierówności dochodowych, drugie koncentruje się na zdiagnozowaniu czynników (zmiennych) determinujących nierówności. W ocenie stopnia nierówności w rozkładzie wykorzystuje się rozmaite zmienne (płace, całkowite dochody przed lub po opodatkowaniu, z uwzględnieniem bądź nie transferów socjalnych itd.) w odniesieniu do różnorodnych grup społecznych (ogół ludności, ludność w wieku produkcyjnym, pracujący, osoby indywidualne lub gospodarstwa domowe itd.). Metodologia oceny stopnia nierówności oferuje różnorodne mierniki - miary oparte na funkcji Lorenza (współczynniki Giniego i Schuza), kwantylach rozkładu dochodu, funkcji dobrobytu (miarę Atkinsona), uogólnione miary entropii.(fragment tekstu)

The analysis of income distributions often includes the investigation of the level of income inequality. A variety of measures are used for this purpose, including Gini coefficient, as well as indices based on quantiles (usually quintiles, deciles or percentiles). In the article the results of the assessment of income inequalities and changes in the decile distributions of equivalent disposable income in the European Union countries in the period 2005-2014 are presented. We use popular inequality indices and Csiszár divergence measures. The data come from EU-SILC database.(original abstract)
