Abstrakty

Artykuł odnosi się do relacji związków zawodowych z nowych i starych państw członkowskich UE po rozszerzeniu jej o postkomunistyczne kraje Europy Centralnej i Wschodniej. Autor stawia tezę, że w podejściu ruchu związkowego do trwającego procesu pogłębiania integracji ekonomicznej dominuje zachodni paradygmat obrony wizji Europy Społecznej w oparciu o krajowe systemy stosunków przemysłowych. Ponieważ takie podejście wydaje się niemożliwe do realizacji w Europie Centralnej i Wschodniej, potrzebna jest zasadnicza europeizacja działań związków zawodowych. (abstrakt oryginalny)

The article refers to relations between trade unions from the new and old EU Member States following the EU Eastern enlargement. The author puts the thesis that Western paradigm of defending the vision of Social Europe based on national industrial relations systems dominates in the approach of trade unions' movement to the ongoing process of deepening economic integration. As such approach does not seem possible to be implemented in Central and Eastern Europe, a fundamental Europeanisation of trade union activities is needed. (original abstract)
